Compass and Directions are used as part of a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement (DRR) order agreed by the courts and is designed to help work towards recovery/abstinence and make lasting changes.

The aim of both the Compass and Directions programmes are that it seeks to guide participants onto the right path enabling them to make changes to improve their lives.

Compass is for those on a DRR and in recovery from heroin, crack and alcohol addiction. The programme consists of six two-hour workshops over twelve weeks and is designed to support men & women over 18 yrs.

Directions is a six week programme aimed at those who are on a DRR because their cannabis use or cultivation has led to offending behaviours.

Over the six workshops participants join this experiential programme and discover:

The Compass programme consists of six two-hour workshops over twelve weeks.  The workshops are a mixture of discussion, conversation in small groups and the completion of various exercises.

Referrals to the programme are via a Probation Worker or Drugs Key Worker.

We work closely with local agencies to ensure that drug treatments and rehabilitation programmes are effectively linked.  Once participants have finished the six  workshops, there may be an option to access local drug and/or alcohol recovery services to empower people to live independently and drug free in the community.

This programme is delivered in partnership with Summit House Support and West Midlands and Staffordshire Probation Service.
