I first came across a version of the mushroom saying nearly 20 years ago but it’s as true today as it was back then.
Too many organisations are missing a trick by not communicating well enough.
They don’t harness the power of their staff and communicate on a ‘need to know’ basis.
They fail to embrace the fundamentals of good communication let alone some of the more modern ways of communicating that technology gives us.
So if you are a mushroom or you are growing a team of mushrooms in your organisation then you are missing a trick that can be learned in as little as a day.
How can I do this?
· Understand that people are different and that you need different ways of communication to engage different people
· You need to listen more than you talk
· Consider new technology that could help, once you have mastered the above.
I now share these secrets with others that are keen to work on their stress, time management and productivity. Let me know if you are interested in finding out more by calling me on 0800 021 7613 or e-mailing through the contact form link at the top of the page.
