18 years ago, before I had event qualified as a counsellor, I discovered the power of coaching. I found that my coaching skills helped me to manage over 500 team members I had in a corporate setting, and later hundreds of adults and young people in my local community. For the first time I am going to share my coaching skills knowledge with other counsellors, enabling you to be able to use this Coaching toolkit with your clients.
By the end of the course you will;
- Understand 5 key coaching principles
- Build a toolkit of resources
- Learn how to avoid the pitfalls and the top tips in providing coaching
- Discover the differences and similarities between counselling and coaching
- Be able to provide, and integrate, Coaching principles into your practice
- Find out how to sell coaching as a separate service
How the course runs
- You complete an initial intake form once registered
- You agree to the course agreement
- You can pick whether you want to attend the afternoon or evening sessions – it’s to swap between them. The sessions will be recorded but you need to watch or participate in all 6.
- Access the online materials
- Meet Martin for a one to one session in Week 5 or 6
